Kimber's 4VS and 8VS have a smoother, but similar sound...

to that of the TC series. The TC was a bit too hot in the upper midrange with a few of my setups (not really bright in the upper HF's, as I've occasionally heard it described).

I was using a midrange forward 300B SET amp @ the time and also a few midrange foward single driver speakers.

However, first off install the 8TC so that it's not touching floors, walls or the rack and separate the right/left channel runs by a minimum of 8" (once they are away from the amp).

If in doubt and they are resting on the floor have someone lift them up/off as you are listening.
