Kimber 8TC vs ???/comparisons, upgrades? etc....

Ok, another question about Kimber 8TC to add to the list.
I'm wondering who has had 8TC and upgraded for better or for worse? I'd love to hear peoples stories of finding a suitable upgrade from this cable without going into bankruptcy. I love this cable, most of the time. It certainly tends not to match with brighter/cooler sounding gear as it's quite fast and open. I've recently added an Odyssey Audio Stratos w/ cap upgrade and it's a wonderul, transparent amp, but matched with these cables tends to bring that harder SS sound to my Quad 12L tweeters, which are very revealing, or bright as some might say. The bass is quite impressive and overall dynamics are wonderful. I listen to alot of rock/electro based music with foray's into Blues, African guitar, jazz, etc.
I'd like all the goods of the 8TC with that extra sweetness/smoothness/warmth. You know, "the perfect cable"!
Any comments, suggestions, stories, ramblings. Please indulge.
