As Oyaide's rough english translation states, "...Combination and thicknesses of plating represent the final sound character. Quality of polishing process influences the sound quality...".Oyaide's AC product's sophisticated plating/polishing process seems to be the key as to what makes the performance so outstanding. While the phosphor bronze base metal is perhaps superior *when plated* as compared to bare and plated brass, phosphor bronze seems to be only "the foundation" of the design's excellent gestalt...
