thank you for your comments. As for Omega 0, I was told that it made only sense if ALL my cabling was Omega 0 as well. This would surely bust my budget.
Like you, I mixed up the cables and the results have been gratifying so far - interconnect Monitor I on a loan basis + speaker cable Nordost Valhalla + power chord Monitor IV with Furutech plugs. Since Monitor I cable is not cheap, I want to put the whole issue with cables to rest at least for the next 5 years. This is the reason why I'm looking at Omega I as a step up compared to Monitor I, but just for the interconnect whilst keeping my speaker cable Valhalla.
