Mikefi,The entire line of Omega are more open and even have a lower noise floor than Monitor Series. Better clarity and longer decay give bigger stage than Monitor.
Omega also deliver more linear bass line than the rest of NBS line. Keeping in mind that whilst Omega is the leanest sounding NBS, they still have richer tonal balance than, say, Nordost. ( it's all relative ). Also, Omega line is lot more faster sounding than previous NBS cables yet once again, compared within the NBS family.
