After FIM stopped making these cales they were sold under the brand name Cable Research Labs or CRL. CRL is part of Tube Research Labs and the cables were originally designed by TRL owner Paul Weitzel for FIM. So if you see any CRL vables around you can be assured they are just as good or better than the FIM you have.

FYI - I own the CRL Silver power cord, speaker, cables and interconnects.
