Has anyone done extensive listening comparisons of S/PDIF interconnects? I'm curious how dramatic the differences can be between any two competantly-designed 75 ohm coax cables, all other things being equal. Common sense suggests it wouldn't be as obvious as the differences between analog cables...but I've learned that common sense is often the last thing to rely on when it comes to cable sound! (No disrespect intended.)I'm in need of a 6m coax cable. A friend with connections at StraightWire has offered me a choice between their $130 digital IC and their $530 IC. I'm just trying to imagine what could possibly warrant that large a price difference in a digital IC.
