but for shielded wires. The shiled is spaced with a teflon tube which does make the cable stiff. I am not certain if the goretex will make a durable cable without a teflon tube. If i was going to make unshielded cables i would put the goretex core into a teflon heatshrink to make it a bit stiffer. But at over $2 a foot the additional cost of the teflon heathsrink will bump your core cost to $3 or more per foot.I think it is still worth the experiment.
