JulienI used 30 ga bare wire wraped around 1/4 inch cotton cord, three layers of teflon tape. Sealed the ends of the cord with RTV and used Cardas connectors. The results were excellent and the cables are not stiff. Make sure when you wire, you run the wire from one connector to the other and then back to the first one to keep the siginal flow in the same direction.
