Hi All,
I am beating the bushes for a vinage tube amp. I missed out on the MC225. Now I stumbled across a set of Eico HF 20 mono blocks. The idea of having monos is appealing, I've never had monos before. I found a little bit of info on them but not much on the asylum. Has anyone owned these puppies?
I also spied some Halo Audio Spm as well as VTL TT-25s. How do would they sing for me? I have a med-large room with good accoustics and some 91db Dunlavys. The literature that came with them says they like a "fast slew rate". 85 db with 87 db peaks is about as loud as we ever crank it up over here.
By the way, I am not selling my little Pass 30, just fooling around on the side.
