I used an old Eico signal generator and powered a 10 Kohm resistor through the cables with a 15-volt, 1 KHz square wave for well over 50 hours. This is Bob Crump's recipe.The Silver Audio comparison cable had a similar treatment, then maybe a few dozen hours of use time before the comparison. No way to do 24/7 for a month on either of these in my situation.
