Whether Max needs help or not in selling his cables is something I never addressed in my response to the original post. It is a possible bias you and your husband may have towards Max's cables that I referred to. Being human, it is possible. As for not trashing Empirical Audio. I think a comment like "Kathleen Battle sounded like a sweet young school girl" have a decidedly negative ring to it. Just listened to Kathleen Battle last night through Holophonic PC and Empirical Clarity 7. She sounded ALL woman to me. I suppose your being an "orchestra person" is suppose to carry more weight where assessment of audio systems is concerned. My experience with several musicians I've known well would indicate the contrary is true. Most of them have cared little for reproduced music. The ones that have, have been no better than I at assessing the sonics of a given system. All this said, I would like to some day hear Silver Audio cables for myself, in my system, as It would seem they are quite worthy of consideration. In the meantime we can agree that each of us has found a cables that we find pleasing in our respective systems.
