Per your isolations transformer's vibration/buzzing issue; I suggest placing a set of four Herbie's Audio Lab Tenderfoot feet with the pressure-sensitive adhesive option under the unit (if it's 50 pounds or less; if over 50 pounds choose the BIG Tenderfoot). If the isolation transformer is currently placed on a carpet, you will need to place it on a solid platform (an MDF board will suffice) with carpet piercing spikes placed under the platform to create a firm foundation for the feet to "act upon". Better audio performance will also be a result (I use Herbie's footers under all of my PLC's). You might also try mass loading the top of the unit (beware of the "50 pound issue", though) if the Tenderfoot feet do not solve the problem sufficiently. An Oyaide SWO-XXX installed as the AC wall outlet is highly recommended. I also recommend that you re-terminate the isolation transformer's stock AC plug with a Furutech FI-11(Cu) AC plug (or an Oyaide P-079 if you can afford it) since it offers great synergy with the SWO-XXX (I use an SWO-XXX/FI-11(Cu) combo in a second system). What make/model power cord do you use for your amplifier?
