You know, I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers take the time to offer their experience and feedback to clueless people like me. The candor and advice they offer has saved me money and grief. If they make a product or know of a product that may help someone else, why not mention it? Given the fact that one can now easily get info about the person making the post through the "(i)" link, people can take what they read with a grain of salt. I for one am thankful for the candor the manufacturers provide in how a product may be beneficial. I think their posts in this forum cummulatively provide people with the insight they would not normally get. I understand that we don't want people saying "buy my product" in every post. However, I am sure there are others out there just like me that are looking for experienced advice on which products, designs, etc. are the best for each particluar application. I want to know which, how and why something is the best. And I want the manufacturers to tell me - particularly if it has to do with their own product.I hope all of the warnings going around don't make these manufacturers bite their tongues.
