The panel mount IEC sold by ACME is the same as an older switchcraft type, which is no longer produced, IIRC, and the older type is ridiculously good compared to other IEC receptacles. Well worth the price, particularly if you use high conductivity IEC plugs, or have high current demands in the device. A power strip would definitely benefit from these puppies.
