I have a pair of Wilson Watts and they are a nightmare to tune. They put a spotlight on every little change in the system components as well as room tuning. However, once tamed, they can sing. They can be extremely detailed without being analytical. I almost switched over Nearfields but now I am a very happy camper. I would suspect that most complaints about Wilson Watts are due to inappropriate set up which will take a lot of care and dedication. Other components of my system are Aries, tube CJ phono and baby ART, tube ARC 200, HMS cables, and lots of room treatment.
