Bud found they sounded 'edgy' with his
speakers. As I have tried 'em with my WATT and came to
the similar conclusion. ( much to my surprise )It's also possible Valhalla exposing Focal tweets shortcomings.
Interestingly enough, I hear no edginess ever on two other
speakers I own. ( these use softdome tweets of sort )Here, I used two different sources.
BTW, I've listened to Naim CDX/XPS
driving System 6 with all Naim cabling.This was the system, for sure, I thought it would be a treble nightmare.
Instead it had no presense of artificial leading edge or brightness whatsoever.
What a beautiful combination it was.I am learing as I go along as well. :-)
