You either made the promise, or you didn't. My response to that post (for which I took some heat), was made because your post demonstrated that you don't understand where the line is (still). Since the promise part of your post might as well not even be there, the rest can be viewed as another unsolicited ad for HMS cables. That's what we have here in this thread, another unsolicited ad. This time not necessarily for HMS cables, but how to get them from you, the seller. You need to figure out the difference between defending your reputation (an issue you raise, not us) and taking an opportunity to try and boost your sales. You confuse the "right" to defend your reputation with the "right" to give information about your cables in this and other forums. The person asking about your cables in this thread didn't ask to hear anything about your feedback, nor a way to get from you email references. So again, you cross the line. Indeed, the starter of this thread requested to hear from ANYBODY BUT YOU regarding HMS cables. Instead, here you are. Get it now? I suspect not.
My occupation has nothing to do with anything, but here's a little free legal advice. Be careful what counter-accusations you make against people in response to those you imagine are being made against you. To accuse someone of "defamation," who has not committed this act, is in itself actionable defamation.
Finally, for you to say that I have had no contact with you outside of this forum is not more than a lie. We have corresponded twice via email. Remember? Boy I sure do.
