Hi Josh,
The CA200 is bringing me a lot of musical pleasure as I simplify my system in some ways. It replaced a c-j Pr. 16LS2/Pr. 140 combo and while there a pluses and minuses to both set-ups, I haven't been sorry for getting the control amplifier.
You may be thinking about another Joe. Although I did deal with Spearit Sound about 10 years ago to purchase a Pr. 17LS, it was an online transaction and I never did visit their store. I do have a Pr. 11A so now you have me wondering if maybe we traded e-mail at some point?
I've found for amplifiers and the CA200 that I prefer the Shunyata Guardian Pro and use a Hydra 8 for source components. Shunyata later confirmed in a telephone conversation that this was what they would've recommended. The Hydra-α series is their 3rd generation so it most likely improves a good deal over the original generation Hydra conditioners and therefore eliminates the need for a PLC for sources and another for amplification.
I'm not familiar with the Wireworld product line but they seem to have a lot of fans. I'm waiting on an Acrolink/Oyaide power cord now which I'm hoping will be a good match with the Oyaide R1 outlets that were just installed.
Regards,
Joe
