So: single strand best preserves the timbre?

I just got a world of improvement by going from HT CCC to DIY Litz braided CCC. But I want both tonal AND timbral accuracy from my vinyl/SET/HE set-up. I love hearing each instrument's true voice, and the difference a great instrument makes on a great performance. My own guitar is a 1966 Manuel Rodriguez.

I have not yet tried CCC "single strand", a la DNM, just the 2+/2- 25.5 gauge Litz DIY stuff Dennis Boyle offers, which is so good I had stopped worrying about it. Great thing is, I also get the nice audiophile stuff as a bonus.
