I will be shielding them this week and may find this to change. If they retain their quality after shielding I will be using them for some time. DIY is very subjective and since I am using the risch IC'S I too may be bias. My system is very source sensitive(jolida 502,thiel 1.6,sony cdpm555es,deftec supercube)CRAP IN CRAP OUT.With these IC'S I run from the other end of the house to listen when i hear well recorded music starting to play. It's like night and day. Do the IC'S make any diff? Thats another heated topic in its self! For now, IMHO, they out perform the high priced silver that they replaced.
