Well, I double checked some measurements and the 6N1P is biased at 2.1v and the 2A3 is 444v plate, 146v grid, and 194v at the cathode, so it’s at about 48v. 100Hz & 1000Hz sine waves look good until about .9v rms, but 10k starts to clip at .4v rms input. So wouldn’t that only be about 19v pp at the 2A3? Is the plate voltage a little high? Cathode R is 3k.I also lugged my old MC-2105 out and tried it….. no distortion.
