I recently completed a new speaker project and I’m now hearing some distortion when playing certain recordings. I noticed the problem with the old speakers but it’s much more noticeable now. I’ve tried swapping tubes, line-stage’s, & DAC’s and I think I’ve narrowed the problem down to the Paraglow II’s, both units. All the voltages look good and sine waves look clean up to about .8 volts input and then starts clipping. Also, I cannot hear the distortion when playing a full range of test tones.
I’m not sure what to do or check next, please help!
