Just got the SEX amp done and everything seemed to go OK, until the resistance check.
The very first check, center pin - input jacks is wrong (all others check OK).Should have 0 ohms at minimum volume, and 100 ohms at max volume.
I have 100 ohms (94-103 L&R) regardless of the volume knob setting.I have double checked the wiring, took it apart and did it again, and studied the schematic, I can't figure it out
The amp does work, but won't pay louder than 1/2 volume without clipping and sounds very weak (Sennheiser 650 & PX 100 phones used).
Any ideas?
