RE: Another Remote Volume Control Option for the Foreplay

Can the Bent Audio ALPS motorized pot be wired the same as the Sweetest Whispers? From the picture I saw I wasn't sure if it could.

I noticed the ground (which I'm assuming is the wiper terminal?) appears to be common between the 2 channels.
I saw this picture on the manual they have available for download.
