I just blow the "smoke" toward the bathroom and run the bathroom fan.The stuff to worry about is the lead in some solders. I don't know that flux is troublesome.
Back in the 80s I was doing some tear-down and rebuild of old equipment. I got really bad headaches. I haven't had a headache since using the fan. And I haven't always had a bathroom exhaust fan to take care of it.
You could go to a home building store and get an exhaust fan (110V AC) and some ductwork (flexible) to carry the fumes to the window. Just set it on its side and then use that ductwork to get to the window. It would work but wouldn't be pretty!
