One of our favorite get-a-way spots is the Inn at Langley. Nice quiet little town (not too many shops) and the rooms are all on the water with great view of Puget Sound. Kinda spendy but nice for special occasions. Good restaurants and kyak rentals available. You can even enjoy a ferry ride getting there.
