I would imagine that asking the same question at a predominantly OTL forum would net you about the same types of responses---only the preferences would change!I think that both of these manufacturers offer products of high value, meaning that in each case you receive an excellent product for a better price than you would expect. However, no one will be able to tell you which "flavor" of power amp will ultimately sound best to you---some people like good scotch, others a fine bourbon.
I will go this far, though: I'll bet you end up liking tube amps better than SS!
