The online info for the Music Maker indicates 4.0mV(0.004V), which is average for an MM cartridge, and will match perfectly with the Oto phono stage.
As you've already indicated, the Denon 103D's output is 0.25mV, or less than 1/10 of the output of the Music Maker, so you've lost at least 20db right off the bat, and without a SUT will sound like a clock radio with the Oto.
I've used DIY Lundahl and Cinemag SUT's and each works well when matched with an amp (whole system actually) that complements it well. With my ANKits M2 and Oto, the Cinemag is much better than the Lundahl, but with other more dense sounding amps, the Lundahl is better. There are sellers of SUT boxes on Vinyl Forum (ask over there if interested) that could make custom switchable ratios for you, and perhaps Brian at ANkits may also.
