Re: What amps for the B&W 600series?

I was thinking that the NAD or Rotel would be an idea, but his budget of $1000 I think he may be able to go to the next step above the NAD stuff. Rega Mira, Exposure 2010, Creek a50....etc He told me the dealer that sold him the B&W's reccomend Arcam as well. I am not really all that familiar with B&W or Arcam i am more into the Rega, Naim, Epos type sound. But I was very surpised at just how good these B&W's are, I brought my Exposure Xv integrated over last night. We connected his turntable and speakers up and played some records. Now I know they need to break in, but the sound was actually very good, far better than I thought a $1000 speaker could be. My buddy was really excited and had a huge smile on his face all night, i think he has discovered just how much more enjoyable music can be when played through a decent system, remeer the system this is replacing is an old Technics all-in-one rack system from the 80's so the differance is pretty dramatic to say the least.
