I realize that, but the fact that you are a BC dealer means that you have a degree of bias towards their gear. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. We all have biases. Just make it clear.

I have heard a Manley amp (the 250 wpc monos) driving a pair of Sound Labs M-1s (basically the same speaker as my A-1s) and would agree with you that they sound brighter than the Zeus. I would question the implication that they are more accurate. I used the Zeus on both the electrostatic panels of my former Innersound Eros and my present Sound Labs and found the overall balance (at least from the upper bass on up) to be near perfect. Perhaps it's something to do with load matching. Since I have no experience with the Zeus on more conventional loads, I really can't say. I have since sold the Zeus in favor of Parasound JC1s for two main reasons - 1) the JC1 handles the bass in a MUCH better fashion, and 2) they have really opened things up dynamically.
