.....I started with cdx2/202/hc2/250.
WITHOUT a doubt, the best thing you can do is get the 250. in the demo, it was a 'n0-brainer".That is Naim's BEST value product and, as you go down their (never0ending) upgrade path, you can always keep it as you change upstraem components.
the 250 just has so much presence, drive and weight to it. it's in a different league than the 202. it is an incredible amp and hold its value.
the naim "flat earth" crowd will tell you...."souce first!!!!!".....so, what IS your source? caution.....you are NOTHING until you have a CDS3.....;-)
naim's sweet spot, entry-level refernce system is:
cdx2/282/hc2/250.....it is, as THEY say, quite balanced. i ended up with this "kit" and added an xps2.
many will also TELL you to get an Olive series 52 and supercap at the same price as today's 282. with a 250.2 amp, that would rule.
have a thick skin on the naim forum. there are some serious elitists over there. kuma will chime in soon with some sane advise.
