it appears that the Cary V12R may be unsuited for these speakers. Looking at their specs, you might think so, but the comments in our reviews say otherwise, and so do you. These speakers love power, the more the merrier they sound. Even the Cary's 100wpc mode ain't got the punch. Keep your big SS amp, sell the Cary after sending it to Cary for checkup/repairs(that receipt will help resale) and buy a sweet 200-250 wpc sweet sounding SS amp for the tweets. IMHO
