Saw these "audio grade" gold plated fuses on 6Moons, and decided to try a few. They only do "slow blow" , so you may not be able to replace them all. My Cary V12 has two slow blow and two fast blow. I got some of them yesterday. I changed the one in my preamp powersupply, and cleaned the fuse holder with Kontak. I then went to change the one in my CD player, but when I opened it up, the one turned out to be two. With one backordered for my amp, and not having both channels fuses for my CD player, I went ahead and listened to some tunes.
Right away I noticed more air and tighter more defined bass.Each note was more defined and crisp. I also noticed more detail. Not bright or in anyway irritating, just there but not noticable before. You do not have to listen for these changes, they are in your face. For those checking out my registered system, there is a change. My Merlin TSM-Ms were shipped off last week to Bobby to upgrade to MM(magic mod) status. I am now using my Von Schweikert VR-1s from my office system. The IsoClean fuse has made them almost electrostatic fast. The fuse is supposed to be better with some breakin. I can't wait.
