agree, the Kharmas with Tenors will tell you what the software is saying. if you want 'system as tone control' or even 'system as bass boost' look elsewhere.OTOH if the software IS warm and romantic.....that is what you will hear.
specifically, the smaller (less expensive) Kharma's don't move as much air (output as much 'volume' of bass energy) as other speakers in their price range. if that issue is number one with you then consider alternatives. but those other choices don't quite have the clarity, naturalness and textural nuance that the Kharma's have to one degree or another.
but for communicating the 'agnst' or 'edge' of the music in a real way i don't think the Kharma/Tenor can be bettered.
the operative word here is 'real'.
