...yeah, one must do some light soldering and assembly, but I think this speaker is EASILY better than the Titans (whic. I have) and the Atoms as well. I c.n also see preferring the BR1 kit to the Mini Mons.Soft-dome tweeter, a bit laid bac., yet quite revealing of rec.rded details... bass is a bit sloppy, but plentiful (for the size).
Not perfec., but definitely sounds better than the asking pric.. Fun to build, (took me about a 6-pac. ;*) and just might suprise you...
I haven't heard all the c.mpetition, but, again, better (overall, IMO!) than the Mini Mons, low B&Ws, the thin-sounding Super Zeros, J&M Labs c.eapest speaker (as of a few years ago), and a bunc. of others.
