Having owned both a EVo 200.2 and an EVo2, I think you will be very happy. The EVos sound like the fastest most dynamic tube amp you ever heard. For me, the bass was not as full in the older model, and the EVo2 sounded better in that respect. Noting the configurations you desire, I think you want them for a HT application. To me, that would be their ultimate use. They make better music than most SS amps including Bryston, but their detail , especially in the bass freqs is fabulous. I think Stereo Times Ezine has a review of the most current update of the EVo2.
