On the E-H tubes that are in now the tubes are well above the screws. The screw cutouts only line up over the one screw on the Cary top plate near each of the two LC tubes. The RC tubes cutouts don't even line up but all are unneeded for the E-H KT88s. I'll need to check the Gold Lion tubes after shutdown.
The center alignment "tabs" line up correctly with the "slot" in the tube socket. In my previous post I'm referring to the center plastic pin from which the alignment tab protrudes. That pin may be too long and hits something, therefore allowing the tube to be loose (i.e., it can rock) in the socket. The Gold Lion KT88 tubes don't fully bottom out in the tube sockets.
