Thanks, I actually have a triode amp sitting in front of me! I have a Wavelength 300B integrated that is broken. It will soon be in Scott Frankland's hand who can hopefully bring it back to life.
As I said, I'm looking at amps and speakers. Looking at lower power/higher eff. combos. I already have a lower eff/higher (well 55 watts) tube amp combo, but as I replied above I want more tonal texture. I don't know if a '34 would be an improvement over what I've got now.
