2SC2240 replace C458 Transistor

I have a Allied 395 I am restoring. It been mentioned the C458 transistors should be replaced with 2SC2240. The existing transistors viewed from the front have an angled edge at top. Should the 2SC2240 be installed with same pin out with the flat face same side as the angled top of the C458s?
