I think that he voices his Pass Labs amps differently than the First Watt amps. That's based strictly on the many Pass Labs amps I've heard at audio shows. I've no personal experience with them. The M2x sounds, at least to me, very much like an SET tube amp. It's a wonderful amp, especially when you consider that it can be assembled for around $700-$800. I think they sold for a little under $4000 factory built. The diyaudio forum is the place to start. Lots of helpful information there.
