thanks very helpful!
I did notice a problem a few days ago with the 101, a very concerning one.
When adjusting the bass tone control I see extreme woofer movement, and even a "thump" on one channel.
I hate to abuse the DeCapos, if I blow them I won't be able to replace them now that I am retired.
And I understand that the bass tone control carries current for other purposes in the circuit and I cannot simply bypass it.
The problem seemed to be initially corrected after DeOxit treatment, but now it is back.
