Wow, revising circuitry is way over my head. I am a solderer and screwdriver, that's about it.
Maybe you can advise me: If I make exact replacements to original components, then I should be able to perform the same tests with same expected results as the assembly manual specifies, yes?
But how about if I replace caps with higher voltage ratings (but same capacitance of course). Can I still expect to see same testing results at test points as per the assembly manual?
