any hints you can offer from your recap project for the 101?
Did you replace the tantalums?
Power supply caps?
Did you buy a kit of replacement components?
How about the diodes?
How about the transistors?
Did you test any voltages after the replacements (per assembly manual)?
Does you unit show different color paint on the tops of the transistors on the main board? What does that mean?
My unit looks so new and clean inside I am wondering if it was already rebuilt. The caps *look* perfect although I have not pulled them and tested them.
