maybe I can

#1: Natural language is a poor method of describing much of the physical phenomena of our world.

Which is of course why scientists, engineers, etc. use math instead of english to communicate in their domains.

Human hearing also falls into one of the domains where natural language simply does not provide the basis for fully and accurately describing what the senses detect and the brain interprets.

So we must use figurative, immaginative, representtative descriptions for what we think we hear.

#2: I actually owned 3 ClassDAudio amp modules and kits. And the first time - maybe 10 years ago - I powered up my Proacs with the amp, I had - now pay attention please - the *exact* same description pop into my head: "Wow, the background is so quiet and *black*! How does that happen?"

So I think it is fair to say there is some phenomonon about the way those amps interact in systems that is heard by multiple people. Is it "blacker" background? Pick your representation of what is heard - using natural language - and there you go.
