The amp is for a friend. The same guy who just received his dream speakers of a lifetime: the Audio Reference 126DC (see my post from a couple weeks ago in "speakers").
As a matter of fact, his modern day, well reviewed Musical Fidelity powerhouse that he brought along for comparison sounded extremely flat and uninspiring.
I do not know which one is considered "neutral", but I know only one of the two amps sounded like MUSIC to us that day, and it wasn't the Musical Fidelity! ^^
I'm a little bit jealous, my system sounds great (I'm multi-amping with tiny, heavily tweaked, class D chip amps) and I could not go back to single amp configuration (because making a passive network for my speakers would be wayyyy too complicated) but if I was in the market, I'd buy one in a heartbeat!
