It makes no sense that it would take forever to get the parts - Rotel basically just changes the outside of the preamp but often the internals are identical for years and years. Just aesthetic changes.
If you really like the RC 1570 - you might explore the idea of just buying one on the second hand market - compare that to how much it will be to repair yours.
Best Buy is basically useless.
