Unless your heart is committed to tube amplification, you should investigate the Peachtree Nova integrated amps. They come with a ESS based DAC, MM phono section, and a dedicated headphone amp. The Peachtree Nova 150 amp section is ICE powered with 150W/8 ohm and 250W/4 ohm. Better to have power and not need it than to need it and not have it.
Peachtree sells refurbished units through their website and on Ebay at a substantial discount. Nova 150s start around $1000 and the Nova 300 around $1500 for the power hungry among us.
