With all due respect, that Tripath TA2024, when well implemented in a sympathetical environment is probably the most musical of all the flea-power "class D chips"; mine is immensely satisfying driving 104dB horns! I'm basically just curious about tubes, but could live with this T- amp forever, with its bigger 25watts brother driving the low-pass and some big class AB amps in the subs (it is amusing to realize that a lot of people have class D driving their subs and class A or AB driving the rest and I do just the opposite).
I'm curious about tubes, but I don't expect them to be automatically "better" - not at that price level at least ^^
