Tube amp daily routine?

After watching the Audiophiliac's review of the Chinese Reisong Boyuu A10 tube amplifier, I'm quite tempted to try it on the high-pass section of my horns (from 400Hz up).
However, I'm currently using a Tripath based amp and everything stays ON 24/7 all year long with no issue; you wanna play music? you just play it, no annoying "turn on" ceremonial, no "warming up" needed, it just plays and sounds great from the very first second.

How do you guys do it? My second half has very different work schedule than I do which means the system might be used at any time of the day. Do you leave it on all day / turn it off at night? Do you turn it on/off every time you listen? Isn't it bad for the amp if it's, say, 5 times a day or more?
How about "on/off thumps" in a bi-amped configuration? my midrange drivers, although very rugged, are not protected by any capacitor. With the class T amp it's a non-issue.

I've been wanting to try tubes for a long time and this little cheapie seems to be a great way to do it for a start but it seems like it might prove to be highly impractical and finish as conversation piece on a shelf...?
